Tremor Hits Bojnourd, Northeastern Iran

TEHRAN A tremor measuring 3.6 degrees on the open-ended Richter scale hit the city of Bojnourd, in the northeastern Province of Khorasan at 04:39 hours local time Monday. The Seismological Base of Geophysics Institute of Tehran University registered the epicenter of the quake some 250 km northwest of the provincial capital of Mashhad, in the vicinity of Bojnourd. There has been no report of damage or injuries.
